August 24, 200421 yr OK I do not have any trouble with Steam but my clanmate Kronos have a big one : he can install it but when he tries to connect Steam starts the update and stops at 27% each time. Kronos deleted Steam and retryed many times, he formated his computer, he still got the trouble today, Steam stops its update at 27%. So if someone got idea... and please serious answers (I already told him to take a hammer and crush his computer :twisted: but he doesn't want :mrgreen: ).
August 24, 200421 yr retry updating, restart computer, retry update....do it a couple of times, steam update stops frequently at my computer too...have to restart comp and/or steam update...KP
August 24, 200421 yr well it works for everyone elsemine usually stops at 30. I click Cancel, close steam, then restart Steam

August 24, 200421 yr In the steam folder, delete teh "clientregistry.blob" file,.... then restart steam, should start updating from the begining again.
