internet problem

Featured Replies

i have yet another problem with my computer. . .my internet connection keeps dying on me. it will work for about 15-20 minutes at a time, then it will just die. all the lights are still on my cable modem and router, so everything appears to be ok. if i unplug my cable modem for about a minute then plug it back in, i will have my internet for another 15-20 minutes.i can play FA ok for most of that 15 minutes, but there are a few times where i get terrible lag and can't move my guy for 20 seconds :? if anybody has any idea what i can do or has some diagnostic tools i can use, please tell me :)
Try contact the cable company and see if they are working on a know problem. Try going to the command prompt and ping some servers and see if there is any packet loss. Seems like a collision somewhere on the network, but what do I know.
