well, i liked thembefore for doubling my connect speed from 1.5m to 3, and then i liked em a lot more for accidentally uncapping my service, affording me 4mb+ dl speeds of a goodserver, and now they've increased my storage space from 10mb per account, to 250mb per account, on top of UNLIMITEDEphoto storage, and 175mb of personal space, so now, if i whore my g-mail accountsi have a total of about 9gig of online space, hehe :-D :twisted: doom3@gmail.commay be springing up eventually :mrgreen:

Yes they do watch.If you spent a lot of time downloading huge files all the time. You will get notified and if you do not slow down. They will turn you off.

i do spend a lot of time dl's files rantging from 700mb to 10gigis and they have yet todo anything

I have read many a forum and work with a guy that has be contacted. It happens when you constantly d/l and amass monthly totals in excess of the average consumer.

lol, well tellcomcast, i dl'd 4 seasons of ST:DS9 a total of about 30 gigs, in 3 weeks, on top of large demos and evaluation copies (;-) :mrgreen:) of games

comcast has been known to shut down your service for excessive use.when the rest of yo uwere getting the 1.5 meg service i had 3 meg. now you guys get 3meg (about 400 k i think) and i get 450-500k =] and there is another planned upgrade coming because time warner is cheaper and they just upgraded to 6 megs

They don't tell you, but somewhere between 60 and 80 gigs is the cut off... It's not really to hamper users but to discourage server activity. I have done 20 gigs a month for up to 4 months and never heard a word.
