I found this sweet looking mod. So far its not quite finished, but when it does come out its gonna be GOOD. I've seen some screenies and its 10x better than Battle Grounds (based on graphics). The name will be Gettysburg, based around the time of the American Civil War. This mod has been in the works for 3 years so I would expect it to be almost complete when its released. ok dispite what you think this game is definetly not based on graphics lol if it was it wouldnt look like that or be on the hl enginebut i am looking forward to this mod but you sound like you can compar it to battle grounds thats like comparing ww2 with vietnam...
ya...it's all the same engine so they use the same amount of max. polys and such.So I can't say the graphics will be A LOT better...if they have a really talented modeler than they might pull out a bit more detailed model...btw...I've heard of it b4...BattleGrounds and Gettysburg consider themselves kinda sister mods

I never said it was based on graphics. But even someone new to modeling can make better models on BG. This mod has been through alot and I've been following it for a few months. The models and animations are done by ppl who know what they are doing. I only said the graphics (meaning the models, mostly) will be ALOT better.EDIT: Ok I did say "based" what I meant was it looks better than BG based on their models (gun, player).
