Saw Hero a while back, you know, the new forign-old timey-action-kung-fu-cut em up-deception-poilitics movie (that's my categorization for it). First off, It was a GREAT movie. Overall very similar to Crouching Tiger-Hidden Dragon, but awesomely directed and produced. In fact, my only complaint has little to do with the movie at all, but more, the people who go to watch it.

 

*WARNING, ABOUT TO MENTION SOMETHING FROM THE MOVIE*

 

anyway, for those of you still reading, the movie deals with 3 different versions of a story. Each of wich is acted out as it's told. What really pissed me off is the number of people unable to grasp the fact that it was 3 different stories. There were way too many people coming out of that movie saying "how did she die but then come back?" Man, I wanted to just smack them upside the head and tell them to keep their stupidity to themselves and realize it was their fault for seeing a movie that confused people that were dumber than an elementary schooler. Did anyone else have that problem, or did I just go to the show with a lot of retards?

yar, making sure pirates and non-pirates alike can understand what it be I'ma saying. If all o' ye were pirates all I'da hava say is "AAAArrrrrrgghh" and ye'd know what I be talking about. So ye can see I's needed to make it understandable for ye land lubbers.

Hmmm, surprised you people haven't heard of it. It's a good movie though. Kinda sad, but it was nice.

it's much harder to find a theater that plays that one compared to

"Hero" anyways if you like Anime (if you don't please don't post, thanks)

yea reallyseriously, hollywood can't release complicated movies like The Matrix or Hero anymore, because people will label them as crappy. The third matrix movie was good, just a lot of people didn't get the ending, so it was crappy. Hero, as Pirate said, displays three stories and some people obsivisouly didn't get that, so it's getting slammed by reviewersI hope some director comes out with a REALLY complicated movie that makes you think about it even after you leave the theatre.

Hero had some nice special effects. Ghost in the Shell 2 is pure eye candy. Oh so gorgeous. :)Yeah, it seems people no longer like to think. I guess it's no longer "entertainment" if it makes you think. Personally, I like to entertain my mind with some hard thinkin'. 8)

that IS entertainment to me. thinking movies. like the matrix or one of my personal fav. Confidence. its one of those movies that always keep you guessing and you never know the true story till the very last 5 min of the movie. that way i dont accidently guess the ending of a movie (which is usually what happens)-G

The movie isnt bad. It was fun to watch it. It was a little surprise, that in the usa it started on the big screen, months after i have bought it on dvd in europe. Sometimes we are faster.. Heeheheh.

Hey, at least it came out so I could see it. I don't care how long it took to get here.
