September 25, 200421 yr ok so i connected up my home theatre system to my computer throught the AUX cable..now the problem is that only 2 speakers are getting the output.. and the other 3 are not working..the woofer is working fine...but 3 dont work..how do i make them work??
September 25, 200421 yr right noww your probably setup as a mono channel and you need to setup as dual channel for left and right either your sound card needs the capabilities for this or be like me and have a subwoofer that that can dual channel out to my stereo. I know its cheap but it works
September 25, 200421 yr This is assuming you have WinXP of sortsGoto Control PanelSounds and audio devices(in the VOLUMES tab) look to the bottom and you should see a picture of a speaker and "Volumes" and "advanced" buttons, Click the advanced buttons. A new window will be displayed, In the drop down menu select the speaker configuration that you have, (ie 5.1)I think at the moment you have 2.1 selected, If you have the setup configured right then i am at a loss and will need a little more info to help. (soundcard, Make of speakers etc)
September 26, 200421 yr Author ok i already have that option to 5.1..and if i click on th button next to that config i see 2 sliders with left and right vol. mt soundcard is SoundMax Digital Audio. the make of the speakers is Zenix(USA) ok so i just found out that...at the back of the woofer there are 3 more jacks for 2 other speakers...but how do i connect those jacks so i could get output from them....right now i have connected to aux and 2 speakers are working.. how do i connect the 3 jacks to make them all work...
