Im in the market to buy a Joystick so I can learn how to flight the aircraft. Ive never use a joystick so I have no clue which a good one is(I would probably pick one with the most pretty colors lol). So can some give me a little help on this so i dont over pay and get the wrong thing.

I am using the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro twist handle joystick... it rocks...u have almost everything u need and 12 programmable buttons, a throtle control, and a little control stick on top...i like it and for me it has the best functionality for the price i paid (35 - about 40$)...KP

Yeah I looked at compusa's price and its only 35$ so it looks like a good deal. only thing i was told by gator was to make sure it has side movement or something like that so it works when i flight Choppers.Mr

exactly, thats what the "Twist" stands for in the Joystick name...

 

u can twist the handle (the joystick)...
