Okay, i have the latest battlefield 1942 update, and i downloaded dc:finalbut when i try to go into a dc server, the game just completely shuts off :evil: but battlefield1942 works finewhats happening?

what do you mean "it just shuts off" does it quit to windows without a message? or does it freeze?

oh, i meant that the GAME just closes, without an ERROR msg or smt

Do you have DC.7 installed. It has to be installed for DCF to work.

yup, like deathtrip said, DCF is kind of like a mini-mod. so install DC0.7 first, then install DC-Fif it still happens to crash, you might take a look at your graphics settings as BF is happy only when it runs in default screen modes. to override this:1. Find the Mods folder in your BF1942 program folder.2. Go into Mods\bf1942\Settings3. Open the file VideoDefault.con with a text editor (like notepad.exe)4. Change the parameter 'renderer.allowAllRefreshRates' so that the value is '1' instead of '0'. this makes the game use all available resolutions and refresh rates for the intro's and menus
