As you've probably noticed by now, the patch hasn't been released. O­nce again we've added and changed far more than we were originally planning to, and have bumped it up to a totally new revision rather than a small fix.

 

The next version will be known as Firearms 3.0, and will be the last major release. If we overlook some major issues, we'll release a small patch but hopefully that won't be necessary. I was hoping to have version 3.0 out before Half-Life 2 was available, but I think that's unlikely to happen. We've had everything except the code finished for a couple of months now, but the last changes are taking a long time due to Mazor's lack of free time. We'll have it released as soon as possible.

 

If you're still having trouble connecting to servers, and you're sure you've followed the instructions for installing the latest patch, all I can suggest is that you get the latest version of the Marine Bot, which will let you play offline while you wait for us to release the final version.The forums have been acting fairly unreliably for a while now, but I've just been informed that things should be back to normal by the end of the day. yeasad to hear it's the last versionguess this is goodbye to the FA team then.Hopefully there will be a mod for Hl2 that is inspired by the fun and FA and tries its best to be like it.

Junglemist will be the HL2 equivalent of FA, but without the Bizon.
