After speaking with a tech support person at the RECONGAMER hosting facility, I was informed that the server oÂn which the forums reside has been infected with a virus and is currently undergoing a thorough system repair and cleanup scan in an attempt to get everything back up and running. While this scan is running, all applications, including the forums, will remain shut off. Recon estimates that the system should come back oÂnline by the end of today. believe it when i see it -G
November 10, 200421 yr That must be one hell of a virus but I believe that someone on the FA was messing with it, screwed things up and doesn't want to admit it. If it were are virus, they'd just have to run a scan, clean the virus and then restore a recent backup. A few hours at most, not 2 weeks.
November 10, 200421 yr oh no f-a forums still down  darn.i opened a account there from like about a yr ago,and still can't even reply to posts.keep getting a page that says something like,i need to be added to something by a admin,or have been taken off something by a admin, either way GG
November 11, 200421 yr Big whoop dee do. The FA forums are back I still get this message How can this be :? I'm not even a registered user on the forums. Tried asking them why by email but get no answer from them as to why they banned someone who isn't a registered user to post on the FA forms? Go Figure
November 11, 200421 yr Author haha i believe it now... LOL tiger... btw dont you have msn. IM me bud5096@yahoo.com -G
November 11, 200421 yr Tiger you got banned in a range of IP addresses that got banned .. I forget why, you were just unlucky and got caught in the range..
November 12, 200421 yr Tiger you got banned in a range of IP addresses that got banned .. I forget why, you were just unlucky and got caught in the range.. That is very stupid of them to do that  . . . a range of IP's banned why is that so necessary? I think they should undo that range IP ban, because that isn't fair for others who were banned for no reason at all. Why do we (those who are banned for no reason) have to suffer for those who broke the rules on the FA forums. They should get rid of this range ban and just ban only the IP's of those who cause trouble. I want this fixed so I can go look at the forums once again.
November 12, 200421 yr Campalot: That's a load of bull when you say there's no IP bans on the FA forums. The entire CDN Shaw network is banned because of me.
November 13, 200421 yr I didn't say there are no IP's banned. There are plenty of IP's banned. I said there weren't any IP "ranges" banned. But that wasn't true either - I just looked it up and there is ONE range banned = "64.139" - so any IP that has those two octetts as a prefix is S.O.L..That doesn't apply to Schultz or Tigerhawk though since they have different IP addresses entirely.Tigerhawk - Do me a favor . I assume you are running XP? Open your command prompt (START/RUN/ type "cmd" / ENTER) and in the command prompt type /ipconfig /allI wonder if you have more IP's than just the one you gave me.
November 13, 200421 yr so, when my ip changes at home every week between my 2 systems, and I'm pretty sure the 1600 computers in my building all have different IPs and so for all 1602 systems, they're all individually banned somehow? Cool.

I have win98SE on both pc's and I tried what you said but it won't work, I use winipcfg and i only get one IP for each pc. I don't think I have any others if I do I can't seem to find any. This is very weird. :?
