If you havn't played Half-Life or Half-Life 2 (by now), then all I can saw is that I feel sorry for you, because you are really missing out on the greatest video game experiances you'll ever have.

Stop coming to this thread if you don't like Hl2, your words fall upon deaf ears, ears deafened by the greatness of Hl2

Don't take it so personally, please. I didn't mean I wouldn't see the screenies from the game (I already did), I didn't say I thought HL2 is ..... (enter your fav word for bad game), I didn't even say that I didn't like HL2. I just don't want to play it. That doesn't mean I don't like people who play HL2 or I don't respect them.

Stop hating on each other. Everyone has the right like or dislike things. dont being mean to someone if they dont want to play it. remember its just a game (Its a very good game) and that all it will ever be. Plus everyone doesnt have the same interests in games.Just my 2 cents ;)Mrbtw i love this game but that just my OPINION!
IT COST ME 2 FINALS AND A CS PROJECT BUT I BEAT HL2!!!!!!!!!!!!I love it, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeePSGordan Freeman dies at the endpsych
i would never give away the ending, though i will say it did seem a bit... familiar... And thats that, play the game, enjoy it, and enjoy the ending (there is definately a HL3 andHL4 on the horizon, if they exploit the ending properly). My one real complaint with HL2, is that there are too many story gaps. I had to infer alot and Im not sure if my inferences are correct or not
I kind of like story gaps, it keeps you gripped to the game, and makes you really think about itI have to say, honestly, I'm kind of disappointed when a game completely answers every question asked, because then you really have nothing to think about after the game is over.
Man, it's so depressing beating it. I want more play time!!

You already beat it?

I just started and yes, I love it.

I have to admit I was a little disappointed by the shortness of the game. The graphics were awesome, gameplay was awesome, right on the edge of my seat entertainment. Could've been longer, that's all I have to complain about. Also, I must've missed something along the way. Cliffhanger? Questions answered? I finished the game the second day I had it, at like 5am... so I think I wasn't really paying attention to it. and must've missed these "cliffhangers" or "answered questions"

yeah, you must've been playing on Easy and running through it basically

I played it on normal, and felt it was just the perfect length. Not too long, but not too short either

the ending is really a cliffhanger that passes on to Hl3 to answer all the questions.

just like Halo 2, sigh. You know it is possible to have a cliffhanger and still bring SOME sort of closure to a game. I mean, Gordon didnt even get to hook up with Alyx, WHATS UP WITH THAT?
rofl, Valve has stated so many times that there'll be no love connection between Gordon and Alyxthey say whenever they go to see a script-writer about a Half-Life movie, the writers always talk about the love scene between Gordon and Alyx, and about that time the Valve boys run back to Seattle screaming.

i agree, they didnt answer any of the questions from the orginal and added even more questions     grrrrr.......
