ok i cant get my cd to work it keeps saying that i have a code error and it says i have modified my system. Does anyone know how to fix this? ive tried restarting steam, restarting comp and reinstalling cd. i dont know whats wrong. but a few other members on the server had it and they could play just fine.

Im having problems for FA.This is what it says.System modified - Please remove the modification - Code[68]BTW Hi golden.It said that in the CD Log.

well it means something is modified on your system, OR you don't have CD activated

or it means that he's running XFire while playing.

Do you use XFire? If yes, stop it and try again... I got a similar msg, with an older version of XFire.Grr... Boja was 1sec faster...

CD will pick up 2 things as modifying the system (other than hacks and scripts)1. Xfire ingame Messaging, to disable this (and not have to turn off Xfire) in the Xfire screen goto Tools>>Options>>Display tab. and Uncheck the 2 boxes under the "chat" heading, in that window.HLtoolz will require a reinstall of FA/FA patches to remove the "modification"

i dont have Xfire. And what do you mean HLtoolz?

Try updating your video driver to latest drivers. Also, make sure you're not running any video related utilities. I found this on united admins site where CD is setup and maintained now. I hope this helps!!!

CD has a new update get it and see if you still get the problem.

i just had the same problem yesterday after updating cd! but i first could play for an hour or so before the message occured.after restarting with cd on again it worked 4 another 30 minutes and again this error code popped up!!!! arrrrgggghhhhhh

CD always has a problem when a new steam patch comes out. Just shut off cd until there's an update.CD has been maintained by UA since i can remember. Were you talking about the blacklist?

should work now cuz steam updated
