I tried playing Halo 2 on legendary mode, and it has completely destroyed what little gaming ego i had left. Any thoughts of mad skillz I once had have gone down the crapper since I failed to even make half way through the first level. I am going to go weep in a corner now, g'night.
me and my bro had the same problem. We only got to the part after you fight the two hunters, then enter that alley. The jackels with sniper rifles kill you with one shot as soon as they see you. I know its supposed to be legendary, but its bloody impossible...
... my friend cant even get outta the first room in legendary, i don't even try it @ any thing above normal

Well, getting past the first few levels is easy, the trick is to not bite off more than you can chew. Just take on one elite at a time. Also, its a good idea to remember this when fighting through halo.

-Covenant weapons are really good at taking down shields, but do little damage to the body

-Human weapons suck against shields, but do alot of damage to an unshielded target.

With this, its a good idea to use a combo of a plasma rifle with a submachine gun. The plasma rifle strips the shields, and the sub kills the elite.

Also;

-its a really, really dumb idea to try to melee any enemies in halo. This includes using the plasma sword. Elites can have you on the ground faster than you can say pwned.

-Never believe anything shotty says.

-I just got my full license (ie. no parents in car :LOL: ), which means no sidewalk is safe...

(BTW, if you're up to a challenge, try taking on the two hunters just after you crash land in the pelican using only melee weapons :p Me and my bro got one down, but the other came and ripped the crud outta us.)

another way to get past them us have 1 person hide in a safe place and have the othre run out and try to take them out. and if that person dies trying to kill Covenant they will respawn because of the other person hiding in a safe place
me n' my bro used to do that, 'cept I would usually stick a plasma grenade on his back and tell him to go give an elite a hug
man, the flood are way too hard to kill now. Specailly since they nerfed the assault rifle into the subs. The shotgun is the only decent anti-flood weapon, besides the sentinal beam.
i beat it, :p me love

Thats nice, j00 pr0b4blly u53d t3h h4x j00 n3wb. I r t3h pwnz0r. lololrz

To SSM: Sentinal beam gun=kinda weak, and not enuf juice. I usually just use the plasma sword against the flood. That way there aren't any bodies left to infect. I agree with you about the flood, I was totally pissed off when I met them again as the arbitor. I just about turned off my xbox right there.

Another thing that annoys me is that the tank is almost completely invinceable in multiplayer, save for a rocket launcher that you practically would have to be crazy to go after.
