Hrm, I dunno much about AMD/Athalon...but are you sure that includes the CPU? Cuz I'm only reading that it has the socket...the bundle is refering to the software included?

New Egg Listing.

Mac is the hardware guru .... if u dont get any good advice from others ask him he could help u for sure...KP
CPU is not included You select which one you want from list on the left.IMO go with the 64 bit everyone says it pwns.
I'd check out newegg.com if I were you. I just purchased a comp from there, it was cheap and it came fast.I spent around $500It only has a fx5200 card but it runs HL2 maxed smooth.NewEgg also has bundles, I think you can get a good mobo and cpu for about $250.
get the 64 939 3000+ or 3200+ you should be good. with a via k8t800 board from asus or msi.
yeah Get 64bit, itll be worth the wait if you have to save for it, i would suggest the new FX55 4ghx =P its a steal at $899 at the moment =P
You need to let us know how much you want to spend. That will help out the most.Post the Amout here and let the fun begin. :D :D :D
I agree go with the amd64, but make sure that if you do. go with the socket 939. The product that you linked us to. Wont allow for much or any upgrading at all. i currently have an amd64 3500+ s939 with the asus a8v deluxe. I couldnt be more happyi currently have it overclocked to better the 3800+ speeds with no problems whatsoever. but yes do let us know what ur budget is. and what parts you need. cpu, mobo, ram will cost between 400 - 700 dollars us. depending on quality or size etc.
