Why doesnt HLSW Start Firearms

Featured Replies

I just reinstalled windows xp and after installing hlsw and steam, i try and connect to the TAC server but steam wont start

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Hmmm, are there any messages or errors that it gives, can you describe what is happening in a little more detail...

i suspect that steam is set to run on startup but is not loading properly, check to see whether "steam.exe" si running as a process (ctrl+alt+delete)

It ran fine on Windows 2000, when Steam didn't start on startup and HLSW was able to open Steam successfully.

Now, on windows xp, I don't have Steam in the startup

When I do try and connect to the server, the program starts to do something and then stops, with nothing happening

there aren't any error messages or anything

it does start fire arms but with one of the new steam up dates theres another program that u have to get to make it work

???? i dont have another program and i basicly only use hlsw.
