Can someone help me understand the stats? I was checking my stats and I see where I have 348 Kills and 24 deaths w/ M4 resulting in a 14.50 K|D ratio resuling in a 3rd place ranking for the weapon when Josh has 1640 killls and 369 deaths giving him a 4.44 K|D ratio. Why am I ranked lower? Am I missing something here? He has played alot more than I but for the time I have played my stats are far greater.

The weapon stats are based on the number of kills, not the kill/death ratio.

Now, if you look at the overall stats, they weigh heavily on capping and destroying objects. Don't ask me why. I have a very bad k/d ratio but I am up in the stats because of capping objectives. Call me a nub I don't care but I like capping. Anways, if you click the tab at the top row to k/d then you can see who is ranked by ratio and if you click the tab Kills you can see who is first at most kills. The stats are compiled every morning at 6 a.m. and reflect the last 2 weeks of play. After 2 weeks your first day falls off of the stats and your last day is added. Does this make sense? So if you played from the 1st to the 15th those stats are shown. On the 16th though your stats will be shown from the 2nd to the 16th. Get it? Hope so.

things that contribute to stats are

 

Caps. Med points (bandages given, heals, evacs, adrenaline etc etc), Kills (raise rank), Deaths (lower rank) including suicides, world-event deaths like falling off things), Objectives destroyed (crates on durandul) ETC ETC ETC..

What you are saying makes sense. I guess IMO these stats really aren't a solid way of determining a players skill since it's based off of how much you play.
