We recently dropped our player count for CS:S and FA to 24.

 

It is not a performance issue. It is more of a gamelpay issue. A lot of people like smallish servers and we feel that 24 for both will do fine.

 

24 for CS:S maybe a little too many but we will be adding some larger maps to balance it out.

 

24 in FA works well on some maps but over crowds other.

 

All in all. If you cannot find a spot. hang in there. Someone will drop.

naw its not. THen u will have like half the blue team snipers and it gets really annoying. Its col the way it is.

Well, you ALWAYS have to kill 10 snipers (like today on inlands - 11/12 were snipers) on the opposite team so 6 one way or the other are really no difference at all. And more fun.

i like more players on FA. not CS but FA was fine :/.

there is an odd pattern where the famas users seem to want less players on the FA server... just thought i would point that out :roll:

I usually only roam on servers with 2-10 people
