There's only two days left in the Anarchy Online special. If you sign up before the 15th you get a year of AO free (excluding expansions). Now I had never played AO before, in fact, i've never payed for an online game before, but I figured "A year free? I might as well" and let me tell you, once you get the hang of how the game works it's awesome. I suggest you guys sign up if you're into MMORPG's.

i hate this game.. i tried it.. and was soooo discusted by the gameplay and the graphics that i uninstalled it within 30 mins of downloading it :|

mmorpgs arent my thing... way too complex, take WAY too much time to get decent. so confusing.

 

i liked diablo 2, its a dumbed down mmorpg

rofl i uninstalled it a day of trying it out too.

the textures sucked bad even on high. the graphics sucked, same with the gameplay.

 

I guess you just need alot of time with a game like this..

i played it for a while... but it doesnt really have a point unless you have on of the expansions.. no massive pvp battles.. which is the point of a mmo only human interation in this is questing and trading

i lasted about 5 minutes and it was just so horribly boring, and the game kept skipping and respawning me so i just gave up, this game blows

I use to play this game about 2 years ago. Got a Fixxer up to level 60 something. It was ok... but it got real repetative in the instanced dungeons.

Sounds like most of you didn't even get past n00b island right in the beginning. This was probably your problem, n00b island is quite boring and it doesn't look nearly as spectacular as the mainland of Rubi-Ka. It did take me a while to get into this game but now I'm a level 9 engineer and it's frickin awesome. At least there's no turn-based combat, blech. You can't get a feel for the game only playing it for half an hour, and it doesn't take that long to get good. I've been playing like 2 day's and I'm already pretty decent. It helps when you have friends playing so you can go on group quests, those are fun.

me and skeaky arab and jables used to play, but it gets old with no big pvp battles.. i had a lvl 20 sumthin solider

I tried the game, isn't worth it really

they have big PvP battles occasionally, battles between the rebel clans and Omni Tech... go Omni Tech. They're scheduled in advance, but aren't that frequent.
