I unzipped some models from the FA model site into the firearms models folder and it still isnt showing up

you probably just haven't RENAMED the model to what it SHOULD be.

 

for example.. you download a model, and it's name is:

 

v_famasimmauubernoob.mdl ( :o )

 

you have to change it to:

 

v_famas.mdl

 

then just copy and paste that into the models folder and overwrite it to the default.

Yeah, the best way to know if you did it right is when u place the mdl in the model folder you shoulc get a overwrite promt. If no prompt, check the name.
