My name is Shakur. Im from Scorpion-Knights. I am just doing what Disposable_Hero ask me to do when i talked to him in your mirc channel. I was playing at your guys server. Nice server, good people, the map was de_cbble and donut was spectating, but he was watching me. He came in and was watching me so i believe another tac member asked him to join. Maybe because the other members didnt have admin, i dont know. But he accussed me of having,"super quick switch exploits". I was awping and i was switching from awp to pistol and it was canceling the reload. It does it in 1.6 and condition zero also. He told me to stop. I think its funny because im using my Q(quickswitch key). Then he says if i do it again i will be banned. I killed one person and then i got banned. Deposable hero told me that you guys also play Firearm and that has a lot of exploits. Which i can understand if i was using a exploit, but i wasnt. First impressions leave the biggest impact on people. Also cal does not state in the rules that you can not use your quick switch key, also it does not say you can not use your quick switch key to cancel awp reload. I bring that up because we play you guys monday. Well its a 12 hour ban, i hope i get unban before then and if not i will in 12 hours. Ill check this post later tonight and see what you have said. I appoligize Donut if you thought i was using exploits but quickswitch is not a exploit. Talk to you guys later.

P.S. I am sorry for posting this in the wrong area. I saw counter strike source and thought to put it here and just realize you have a spot for this type of thing.

I thought we permitted quickswitch?

using the reload exploit in FA was and is a banning reason... we disallowed this exploit...

it's just like the jump 'exploit' in tac, or in CS:S where you silence an m4 or usp and switch weapons to make it go faster

The last we talked about the switching it was not banned in our CS server. I do not think it should be allowed because it is cheap and you cant do it in real life, but as of now I do not think it is banned.

hes talking about cs:s, btw acording to him there is no rule stating that he cant do that so i say unban.

Do you switch from pistol to rifle. If you are using a rifle and run shot of bullets and switch to your pistol and kill someone, that is basically what i am doing. Go in source buy a awp and shot it, hit your quickswitch button twice. Thats what i did. Its not even close to being a exploit and if it was, cal would have it in the rules. I am not going to beg to be unban. It should be gone in 12 hours, if not expect the same welcome you gave me, when you play on my servers.

Awp to pistol, or as it's called rolling, is allowed by CAL. I'm not sure what the rule is here on the <TAC> server. I know if an admin ask's me to stop doing something I abide by his rule and stop doing it.

 

It should be gone in 12 hours, if not expect the same welcome you gave me, when you play on my servers.

I think this should totally be allowed

there's a lot of stuff IN THE GAME that you couldn't do in real life (firing an awp standing/strafing and getting a kill).

Just because you can't do it in real life doesn't mean you should be banned for doing it in a video game
