January 20, 200521 yr 2500+ barton core with 640 kb cache? if so change your multipliers 200FBS and 11 core, oh and dont forget to change your core voltage to 1.75 or 1.84 somewhere around there, play with both but not too high, start low then move up, don't want to fry it. as for chip burn out, with proprer cooling it wont happen. ive been running my barton 2500 at athlon xp 3200+ or 2.2ghz for more than a year and a half. not a single problem. case is well vented and has enough heatsink/fans to cool it i nthe summer without ac on.
