No, my school stopepd PE credits and I nearly didnt graduate with a 36 class transcript. because of the 2 pe credits needed. I am in track because I can no longer play contact sports. I loved lacrosse and would return to it anythime but I can't for risk of death or severe brain damage. I am the fastest white kid in my school, there is me and 7 other kids o nthe sprint team. We are all pretty fast Iam one of the fastest i nthe school and by the time out door comes we will see if I am one of the fastest sprinters in the state. =] I will miss the indoor state track meet for a trip to DC and the CPAC thingy (no flaming)
running a rush. good luck. i read somwhere that pasta=high energy carbohydrates helps to have reserve supply to turn on "steam" full blast near end, which you don't want to do too much too soon i'm sure you know  also stay away from sugar/sucrose but try to gets lots of glucose in some drinks ... which is what carbs are turned into :)

I came out to practices at the end ofthe XC season to ge tin shape. thats when the coaches first started to try recruiting me. i hadnt planned on anything. im still fairly decent in XC and middle distance runs, never tried a meet over 2 miles, most ive ever run was 6.... that was nuts. Washington DC pavement = ouch
bleh on cross country, I was a sprinter back in High School, and a bit in Middle School
I was thinkin about joinin track team at my school, but decided not to becuase there are people faster than me. I am tryin to get into top shape (not that I am in bad shape, mind you) for tennis season :)

well i cant play lacrosse but istill have some speed, i am the only white kid o nthe sprint team... coach wants me to do some distance but i told him he was crazy. my fastest mile was 4:57... i would get killed in a meet, or at least less than top 3 i think. he made me do the 4 X 400M relay, that wa snuts.. we won but still that's alot of running, i like short fast races not longer races lol. stil surprised me that i beat them though. Gary, got 3rd i nthe nation for 55M hurdles and our 4 X 200 relay got 42nd. we all messed up and we know it but still pulled off the fastest time in our state, and we can go faster, so we win. it was a lot of fun. VT is an awesome campus and a nice stadium
