The guy Beowulf on the CSS server is a fake. He is in top5 because he jacks his score by planting the bomb over and over when nobody is in the server, then leaving before the score resets (when someone joins).

 

I caught him doin it this mornin. I was playin him for about 15 minutes, and beatin him, then I left. When I came back he was still on, and I joined again. I noticed on the server info before I joined that he had 9 points. When I joined he left, then came back in. I stayed there for a few minutes waitin for him to join the other team. He stayed spectator, so I left.

 

I looked a few minutes later, his score was 15.

 

So if any of yall thought this guy must be pretty good cuz he is top5, think again.

Bleh, I really don't care about stats anymore. Anways, the webpage is where I always check stats now days to see the total sum.

tbh, ranking only shows how much u play. Usually the fragger with the most frags ranks @ the top. The K:D ratio is the only stat im concerned with. Beo is in dw with me, he's a good chap and good at CSS too.

Must not be too good if he has to pad his stats like that. The one thing that ruins a perfectly good game like CS is people cheating. The same thing with the origional counterstrike. If you are not any good, so what, at least play the game legit. If not you are nothing but a LOSER.

At one time we had it so that people couldnt pad their stats this way. There has got to be so many people in the server before the stats start logging. IF that is not the case it will be soon. Dont worry...we can fix that.

Lol I think its funny but I dont see a problem with it. If he was smart though he would play with bots when no ones on to get better.

Shotty he is talking about the stats on the webpage which are not the same as the stats you get when you type /rank.

 

I am still looking into this...If they are counting on an empty server (or with just 1 person on) this will be stopped soon. The stats they have made that way may also be removed.

Oh, I was actually talking about the stats on the server. I have tested it before and it DOES save those points Shotty....as long as you leave before someone joins the other team.

 

But yeah, webpage stats too.

Dont worry about the webpage stats there are things in place to prevent that. I wouldnt worry about the other ranks system is it always reseting.
