February 20, 200521 yr old ppl like klink dont count. :o wasd is the best. i NEVER!!! have a problem with hitting the right button so :/ theres so many possibilites with wasd. so many. maybe you old ppl have a problem with rem all the buttons. :o -G
February 20, 200521 yr as a matter of fact i played tribes 2 :o one of those I NEED MANY KEYS games... Or the opraha (or something like that) mod fore HL you needed like your entire keyboard to play that game. And like i said, no worries when playing the e,s,d,f becouse of the F button you always know when you are right or not
February 20, 200521 yr Kol_Klink] w,a,s,d for me... and klink, the only reason those gamers might be good is because they have been playing for a long time... it seems that older gamers use the arrow keys, that is what it seems like anyway. yes cow that might be it seriously I noticed that too but didn't think much of it. LOL. SteveO what do you mean how can you reach keys? you bind the keys near the arrows with the functions you need. Right hand on the mouse and left on the keys. Del = use End = sprint ctrl = jump shift = req arty enter = reload page down = prone 0 on num pad = heal and so on wheel on mouse switch wep modes M1 = fire M2 = crouch page down, end, delete, and enter are too far away for just a short pivot of a close finger. Your whole hand moves while moving to press the key. Thus, you are left motionless for the period of time you go to press the key. While on wasd, you can quickly and easily press any key within short distance without moving the whole hand/wrist.
February 20, 200521 yr def arrow keys my buttons are so close together and my mouse if i cant for some reason use one hand i can move the other fast enough to react. i use 30 buttons placed around the arrow keys at most. usually jsu tthe arrows and a few others reload, drop/pickup, ect.... i dont really have too many to press my mouse does all the work
February 20, 200521 yr For the arrow keys, my fingers (pinky and thumb) could only reach about 16 other buttons (including Instert,Home,PageUp,PageDown,End, and Delete. Which are impossible to push without a finger coming off of an arrow key) And many of them required me to really stretch my pinkeh and thumb causin me to lift a finger off of the arrow keys. So I still have no idea how you guys do it. :S

February 20, 200521 yr In FA it is not about the keys but the Mouse. 5 button mouse players will own 3 button mouse players. You can keep your fingers on the movement keys and still use commands with the extra buttons. Don't believe me? I bet the Best FA players have 5 button mice. Poll it on the FA forums. 5 button mice RULE all gaming for that matter.
February 20, 200521 yr That's because a 3 button mouses were made 3 years ago.. Everybody now has the Logitech MX510+ mouses. (like me) and they are just wicked. I can pick someone off so much better now

I can pick someone off so much better now sigh ,sadly i don't have a 5 button mouse,i swear everytime i need a new one no matter where i go to get 1 they're always out of any good 5 button mouse,so i settle for a 3 button 1 :?
February 20, 200521 yr i use a wireless 3 button and still do well but i have a wired 5 button two wheeled mouse im good with both
February 20, 200521 yr maybe you old ppl have a problem with rem all the buttons. :o -G So are you saying I'm OLD G because I use the arrow key and I can't remember my buttons? :? I've tried wasd but it just doesn't work for me. page down, end, delete, and enter are too far away for just a short pivot of a close finger. Your whole hand moves while moving to press the key. Thus, you are left motionless for the period of time you go to press the key. While on wasd, you can quickly and easily press any key within short distance without moving the whole hand/wrist. Well I guess you young guys don't have flexible hands yet to be able to maneuver without a problem like the older and the younger players like me who can maneuver their hands

I don't know about you but I can reach END key for sprint while using arrows obviously because you have to be moving forward to sprint and DEL for use I have no rush to fill ammo, and page down for prone, I usually have time to prone and I dont prone reload so i am cool. To unprone just hit crouch and boom I am up again. Besides only lamers prone. LOL Ripper, I use index finger n forward key and middle finger on END when sprinting. What is so hard about that?
February 21, 200521 yr Good job mac i also use a 5 botton microsft mouse. i use the arrows for movement and some of the numpad keys as well plus the keys above arrwos for reload, bandage, radio commands and etc. then i use the mouse with m1 as fire m2 as secondary fire middle mouse as rate of fire change and then left thumb mouse botton as quick switch and the left mouse for vent or other voice chat.
