March 23, 200520 yr I was sitting there last night in the server when this dawned on me that the time limit in the server is ridiculously long. I think it something like 3:30 or more. CAL has a round time for 1.75. I think that may be we could shorten the time limit to stop all the camping. It seems that there is always one or two campers that hender gameplay and do not try and complete the objective sit back and wait in a little corner. With a shorter timelimit it would make the ojective team have to complete there goal in order to get cash. Henece stoping the campfest. I have seen it on other servers and it seems to work well just thought I would see how eveyone else felt.
March 23, 200520 yr I don't know. It seems like shorter time limits might encourage camping in a way, atleast for the defensive team. Like, with shorter timelimits campers will just have to camp for a shorter time. Also, on maps where the offensive team likes to camp, some jerks may just camp anyway and just end up losing the round faster because they sit in a corner while they're supposed to be getting hostages or whatever. Although now that I've spen the time to type all that I've decided that shorter timelimits mean I come back faster after I die and it just means that offensive teams have to attack and defensive teams have to defend more so I voted for shorter time limits anyway. :peace:
March 23, 200520 yr SO TRUE,the time is way too much that was the first thing i hated about css.if you die quickly(which WILL happen if your new to the game)you gotta wait like 3 mins to play again.And the camping is ungodly.how fun is it to sit in a corner and wait 'till people pass by.might as well go back to duck hunt or something if that's all people want to do.
March 23, 200520 yr I think the round time limit is 5 minutes right now. I would say shorten it to 2:30

March 23, 200520 yr i say make it like 3-4 minutes, because you do need time for people to complete the objectives (remeber this isnt an orginized team, just a pub team) so you do need to give them time to get the bomb if its droped and stuff, so 3-4 minutes is the best amount of time
