I got a coupon for Hl2 bronze edition.

 

Started steam up went to purchase

 

package Hl2 bronze assuming it would

 

ask for coupon after I entered CC #

 

unfortunately it didnt. So it charged me

 

for something I have a free coupon for.

 

So I got pissed emailed them auto response will

 

resond within bla bla. I didnt even DL it yet

 

but it is in my steam my games.

 

Any way to the point, does anyone know a 1-800 #

 

for customer service i would like to get this resolved.

It's from an ATI card...those expired two chritmas's ago I believe

make a new steam account and use the other coupon for your HL2. sell the other on ebay

Would say you got another HL2 key. I bet they will not give you a refund on that since it says on the card that is a key. Keep the one on the card then sell it to a buddy. Do not put it on Ebay as that is in violation of Valves policy. You also cant sell an account have you activate it. Cut one of your buddies a deal on it....

Yes but they have warned against it and say they "can" take legal action. I see crack dealers all the time on the corner but that doesnt make it right.

I never said I agree with it...that is just what it says.

Try going to register a product i already own, and put in the number on the coupon. Not sure if it'll do any good. And try posting in the steam help forums, maybe someone there can help. www.steampowered.com

It's in violation of the HL2 EULA to sell your steam accounts on Ebay. Read the fine print my friends.

Just call your credit card company and cancel the transaction on your credit card. Just tell them some BS story. I've done it plenty of times :peace:

Because some legal document says so is why. You gotta read the User License Agreement thingy to know that....which I havent done....ever.

 

Ummm..... as to the real topic, maybe there is a number you can call, that would be the best bet. Post in steam forums about it. thats all I can suggest.
