March 29, 200520 yr Reading over at the Steam CSS forums and I came across this post. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=269217 Seems to be a hack dection helper tool more than anything. Some of the things we as players do this program will pick up as possible hacks. But, again, all I see this tool as being is a helper to identify possible hackers. The best way I see to run it is you record a demo of the suspected cheater, leave server, go offline and start up your own and run the demo. The tool looks great, but only as a helping tool, not to just let it decide on it's own if someone is cheating or not. The best reply I found about it was from this guy. If a player goes 33-3, then an admin might demo him, and send the recording to Ammo for review... If the guy is otherwise a jerk, we might ban, then lift if he's clean... Of course obvious hacks get banned forever, and we are hoping that VAC2 can remedy most of those...

March 31, 200520 yr Author Well, I see that no one has really replied... so I don't know how to take that. The program looks good to me. It's a great way to detect hackers and I must say, THIS PROGRAM DOES NOT RUN WHILE YOU ARE PLAYING
March 31, 200520 yr I think it looks really nice. I can't say much from not being able to use it firsthand though. I also kind of got the impression that you had to pay for it, but I might have just misread something. I think it'd be more fun to play it on your own demos to see how 1337 you scored, though. If nothing else I'm sure a great deal of effort went in to making that program and the person who made it definitely deserves some major recognition if it turns out to be as effective as it appears to be.
March 31, 200520 yr i just wish that someone would take the time to really try and figure it out {jiga have you tried the program } or have you demoed it ? ..... At this point in the game its so hard to tell skill from hacking and is it a waste of time to try and use this program on evryone suspected to be hacking ...... Im learning very quickly and would learn faster if some people would just play fare ................ but my advice is go for it this way people see or hear of people getting banned permanently for hacking , people might think twice {lol} Kanevil
March 31, 200520 yr Author The program is not released to the public yet, think it comes out on April 5th? or sometime in April. Not sure if it is free or not, if not I do plan on purchasing it if it is at a reasonable cost :arrow: Like I said before, this tool isn't to be relied on for 100% proof of a player hacking, only a tool to help you make your decision. From the beta tests I have heard if a player scores around 80 points or higher they are either GOD LIKE or hacking. Very well skilled players average around 60's
