So I get the new update today, and BAM! I cant play for more than 30 seconds anymore. Thanks Valve, I still cant figure out how a company so good at making games can be so bad at them at the same time

DEFCON....im having the same problem....check the CS:S section of forums.... it just doesnt make sense...is it CS:S only?

After dealing with Valve's steam, Novalogic isn't so bad.

Some people are saying it's because the server wan't somehow updated. Least that's what google tells me. And google never lies.

baloney and cheddar, a forum guy said he was being booted on updated servers

In any case, now when I try to connect it says the server is out of date anyway :embarassed:

 

I think the problem is that people think they have an updated server but for some reason they don't, 'cause this is the first it's happened before so it can't just be that people are forgetting to update servers.

 

EDIT: There was another update apparently. Maybe it fixed it?

heh, well now I cant even reinstall CSS after i deleted local content. Im going to try again, and we will see what happens

they messed up again steam now the box is way on bottum of left

they updated and the friends Messanger is messed up dont sign on at all

and for 3.0 i dont think its coming out for a few months there working on

it let them take there time no errors like client 57 and them crazy

letters in hl C folder just injoy 2.9 i say 3.0 will be out in mid june

Actually, the problem we were talking about was for CSS, not FA

I haven't updated so it was only for CS:S then? Correct?!?!

Yeah. CSS got the FA crashing syndrome H4rdcore. It'd crash to the desktop or do what the client 57 looked like every 5 minutesish. It was revoltingly similar to the FA crashes, but much more frequent. It's all taken care of now though.
