EDIT: Nope, sorry. If VAC bans for a year, then it should be over by the end of April, but as of today, it's still banned

Last April, big 2 day LAN party. We had a hookup to the internet and got a bit tired of just the bunch of us verus each other, so we got on the servers, and then got the smart idea of finding some hacks and messing around. Since I was the only one with 2 steam accounts, we used one of mine.

Day after LAN...poof! Banned.

rawkz was explaining it on vent earlier, if someone had an extra account, we put it on a computer (any ones extra) and then set it up as an HLTV..

I thought you could turn on HLTV from the server or have they not turned this back on yet?

Ok what hltv client does. It allows you to record one demo of all ten players. Simply by clicking you move to the next player and can watch them and so on. What this does is when you play a real "cal" team it puts the fear in them to not rape our faces if they are or are not hacking. Because if you are caught using hacks period in pub, scrim, or match its a one year ban from cal. When I played dod our team went from getting pwnt to having fun matchs. Also from our scrim demos the cal-ac banned 4 people for walls and aimbots. I was just asking to see if anyone has a spare because it takes setting up a dedicated server on a second computer in order to run HLTV.

Rawkz we have the bandwidth and everything and we may have an extra key we could put it all on the server if it doesnt take much.

 

Send me a link to the requirements and we will look into this. We have thought about it before and I would like to see if happen if it is not to much trouble.
