For a beta 1 I think they have done a ok job, even though I don't think I'll be playing it untila later version comes out. I think the objective is ok but the recoil and the gameplay is a little harse.
April 18, 200521 yr Now now ripper, it's just a mod. It's not worth severing friendships over dissenting opinions about a mod. I can really see some great gameplay once all the issues are smoothed out. As is, it's still a fun alternative to CSS is small doses. Good news is that new maps for it are already in the works, some nearly done already :o That'll fix some of the staleness that settles in after a while of playing PoA. Oh, before you worry about rushed, and therefore crappy maps, because the screenshots are very very promising on most of the new maps.
April 19, 200521 yr I voted bad for lack of a "Mediocre" option....I think it leans more towards bad than good.
