Ok I didn't think that this was such just a bad mod but I am curious about how it did with everyone else.

Come on State its not that bad. For a beta 1 I think they have done a ok job, even though I don't think I'll be playing it untila later version comes out. I think the objective is ok but the recoil and the gameplay is a little harse.

Now now ripper, it's just a mod. It's not worth severing friendships over dissenting opinions about a mod.

 

I can really see some great gameplay once all the issues are smoothed out. As is, it's still a fun alternative to CSS is small doses. Good news is that new maps for it are already in the works, some nearly done already :o That'll fix some of the staleness that settles in after a while of playing PoA.

 

Oh, before you worry about rushed, and therefore crappy maps, because the screenshots are very very promising on most of the new maps.
