Ok...I didn't think the whole claymore situation could get any worse...but i was wrong:( I was just playing caen and I couldn't put a claymore anywhere...i mean ANYWHERE...inside a building. Hell I had trouble even putting them on the freakin sidewalk! Or even better I was trying to put one in the MIDDLE of a room in a building(IN PLAIN SITE!), and it wouldn't let me. The closest place to it I could put one was in the street. Claymores, I beleive, are in the game to keep people on their toes when they play, and of course to cap some points. So please let them be part of them game, like every other weapon you can choose.

Caen has been like that since the release of 2.9. Its just that map, so I don't mind too much.

no it hasn't been...sorry to say. I use to be able to put them just inside the buildings or around some corners in building. But now I litrerally can't put them anywhere inside a building on that map.

Phrogg, YOU HAX! anyway yeah its like that for me too, i cant place claymores in any building on ANY map, so ive gotten used to it.

Caen was a virtual claymore free zone and then when 3.0 came out all of a sudden we could place clays anywere again. Then, all of a sudden, I am trying to plant a clay and it won't work. The map changed somehow. I don't know how or why but I liked the clays in Caen also.

The problem was with metamod having a typo that removed the "clay free zones" Metamod has been fixed, and is now running on the server. This will make the buildings, once again, clay-free.

theres some places you can still put clays you just gotta find them.i have 2 or 3 places in caen i still can use.(and no i'm not telling you where )

I know the spots but there are not enough of them. I wouldn't say the map is fixed I'd say it is broken now. LOL.

the Matter is Simply this, claymours on some maps are entirly used tooo much and they should be banned on those maps, other maps u cant use clays because i cant place them anywhere what so ever......anyhow I think that the clay sitution should be like it was in 2.7 or 2.8 it was just about perfect then....we didnt have any conflicts
