They will probably attempt to post that I was doing something; I was being a jerk to them, which is true. They claimed that I'd be banned by the admins, which you can ban me if you want, I don't care that much, I just think that valve and you should know that these people are destroying your games.

Exactly how was he cheating.

I see the last screenshot was from PS_Sandblast. I have had scroes like that on that map from capping the bunker and the last cap point.

 

As far as the other two screeens from River. Those are not that uncommon from people knowing the map and having good aim.

Just because he has more skills than you in a game doesn't mean you have to whine about it and say that he is cheating.

Even i've had scores like that back when i played FA ... its fairly easy realy if you camp alot or cap alot =D

Oh, and also, you and over 90% of your teammates on red on river were noobs.

I've eclipsed 100 on Sandblast many times and it wasn't hard. I am not great and it all depends on who you play against sometimes like Ripper said.

Some players are very skilled and that is just how it is.

I told you I'd get flak, and I was right. I don't really know how to upload a demo, or I might have taken one, but these guys were using aimbots, it was quite obvious to me and the other players. I understand getting a good score, but getting 3 headshots everytime you fire is a bit excessive.

 

They were cheating, it was quite clear.

 

As I said before, ban me, that's ok, just understand that I'm willing to go down if it means exposing these guys. The demos taken here were during a period when they both started playing nice and let me act like an *******, that is true, I did block the doors. I said I would unblock if they simply left the game or quit cheating, but never the less, they simply went on and on.

 

I did act like an *******, but as we've seen recently, Mark Felt AKA "Deep Throat" may be arraigned for illegal activities, but while he did break the law, he was breaking a law to break the stride of another law breaker who eclipsed him with a breaking and entering and a broken promise. In other words, "let he who is without sin..."

 

If they weren't cheating, then the Messiah has just come.

Been playing off and on for about 9 months or so. I first got into FA while living at a hotel when I moved from my house to my condo. That was Oct of last year.

 

I'm an old hand at DoD, but my gaming is only a fun pastime, my career as a musician is my life (I've done soundtracks for games now though).

 

I looked at the second demo, and it was very fishey. I mean, it's possible, but unlikely. I think the best idea is to have someone more skilled check it out, or to see Clips play against some top players.

 

I'm still convinced he was using something.

 

I've never made a formal hacking accusation before.

You seem to be lost, the way it works is you come with the demos and the evidence. I already gave you a freebie demo, would you like my match demos from tonight too?

 

Well here goes a guide you can read so at least this thread isn't a complete waste.

 

An abbreviated guide to cheaters

 

When you think someone is cheating, the best thing is not to say anything. If you do, they usually become defensive and may even disable their cheats. The best way is to start recording a demo and just play in a style that lets you observe their behavior (for example, if your hypothesis was that the player had a wallhack, you would put yourself in a situation where it would make it obvious that they had a wallhack). If you are still suspicious, the best idea is to immediatly go into spec. Although "First Person" spec mode was said to be removed in 3.0, it is not. You can still access it by hitting crouch in spectate mode and then clicking on the drop down bar to choose "First Person" (occasionally this may crash your game, unfortunately).

 

Now you're watching the player-- but what do you look for? First you have to know what types of cheats exist and how a player using them behaves. This is a complicated process that requires alot of experience. Sometimes there is not enough evidence in a given demo and requires more to be conclusive. There are elements of luck, and randomness in every game which you should always account for, as well as specific unnatural behaviors that are easily spotted as a cheat. The bottom line is: If you don't know what to look for, you'll never be able to spot a good player from a cheater.

 

If you are interested in being able to accurately spot cheaters, I suggest searching anticheat sites such as united admins, this is their specialty.

a good score does not mean he is cheatingand using the famas single shot and getting headshots is not cheating either

 

you failed to capture a demo, thus you failed to catch any type of cheating, if there really was any.

 

If you had at least GOT a demo, you should have known there were more intelligent people on the internet willing to help you get the demo online.

played eclipse (same guy?) on a euro server hes ok i guess....

these "[]" guys get their kills from gaining the advantage in their playing style i.e. camping, but i doubt any of them cheat
