Featured Replies

Ok guys in keeping with the "what do you drive" or other threads to get to know each other here is one for you.

Post about you do at work OR school.

Tell us what you do and pictures to go with them if you have them..if not that is cool too.

(I am not going to bore you guys with all my pictures again) Just my new ride...havent got the windows tinted yet. Note the cool LED lights!

For those who do not know me I am a State Police Investigator with a job title of "Agent". Our Agency works alcohol, tobacco, gambling, and narcotics crimes. We are what some may call a vice department. If it is bad for you or wrong we pretty much work it, but our main law enforcement funtions are the ones listed above.

I graduated from High School in May 1995. I was an intern from March 96 to March 97 at the same department Strobes works for now. This was part of my college course requirements. On a side note, while an intern I used to ride with Dalawman when he was a rookie patrolman at the same department. Then I started to work at for a County SD two months after my 20 Bday (August 97). I went to work with the State in June 2002 and still work here kicking in doors.

Below is my 2005 Crown Victoria with LED lights by the rear view. I have 3 LEDs in the back. I also have strobes hidden in the tail lights and side marker lights with wig-wags in the headlights. Now I just need my windows tinted.

well at school....i am well...a kid that always makes his teachers happy and im a good student but i just dont do my homework XD. and on that note i still get good grades... XD! at school i mostly just go there to learn and see my friends and nothing else. i dont get involved in after school crap because id rather be with you guys or my other friends and i dont like sports and i am extremely out of shape and at 240-250 lbs at only 6' 3-4" i dont know how id run in football or any other sport...but anyway yeah. im a good student, thats all i really am.

I work in a Specialty Alloy Mill. ( Stainless and other grades of alloys or a Steel Mill )

I can run Grinders, Saws, Overhead cranes, Welders, Fork Trucks, Frontend Loaders, and Ultrasonic Equipment.

We are big enough to have our own Fire, Hazmat, and Rescue squad. I have been a part of it for 10 years.

My department Cuts and Grinds the product to go onto the next operation. We are the worlds best at what we do. Statecops car has probably 10 pounds of our Raw stock in his vehicle. Our stuff is everywhere.

Here are some photo's of us preplanning one of our water towers that is going to get painted in July. We want to make sure we can rescue them if something goes wrong.

And YES that is me. Only two of use went down or were crazy enough to do it.

I'm a High School freshman (grade 10) currently taking english language, history (in french), physical education, and a grade 11 computer course. I currently have an 84% average and if I don't totally blow out my final exams, I should pass. Next year I'm taking a writing class, an applied networking class, another math class, an advanced english class, and some other stuff that's manditory.

Outside of school, I work as a paper boy, delivering close to 40 papers every morning between 6 and 7. I have been doing this for 4 years. I plan on quitting once school is out and getting a real job, hopefully at EBGames or Futureshp.

well in school i did all my academics, then it was off to the technology side. i know how to run lathes, mills, grinders, saws, make my own lathe tools. oh and wut i think is really cool programming things for CNC's and setting up the machines and watch them run ur part. LoL sorry im ranting but im gonna miss all of u :(

Ok for 17 years I have been a bus driver for the city of Thunder Bay. There is a picture of our buses below. It's actually a great job most of the time. i work with lots of good people and only a few that aren't so cool. We have about 60 buses in the fleet and sometime i work in the garage where you see the bus below. We actually ahve one of the best facilities for a system of our size. We do 12 hour shifts and have 4 days off when working in the garage. Driving, we work 5 and get 2 offf but only 6 to 8 hour shifts. Over the years I have met many people through working with transit. That is is. I did go to college for aviation electronics but when done didn't like it and started this and just never continued so here I am lol.
