I was banned from the server for "being a jerk and a total ******* and a bully. Telling people to shut up and not listen to TAC rules." First, I wasnt making fun of BigJ. He said to my teamate that is was BS that he knew where he was, even though his rifle barrel was sticking out. I was just defending my teamate and simply said, "Your rifle barrel was sticking out." Then he continued to say that my teamate hacked, even though it was very obviose that his barrel was sticking out from behind the box. Then i proceded to defend my teamate and in so doing i might have called him an ass. If ass is a swear word, put it in your filter. If it isnt in the filter, it isnt a swear word on your server. And i know that BigJ has a high voice, i wasnt being mean because of that. He was accusing my teamate of hacking. I wasnt going to take it because i know he wasnt hacking, i was spectating him. I like playing on your server, but i was not a bully or an asshole to BigJ. The only times i tell people to shut up, is when im joking with them. I joke alot. I just needed to explain that to the admins because i do want unbanned but if im not, it fine with me.

I've known Drag long before HL2... Hl1... and yeah.. we've known eachother a really long time. I know him and he's not a mean guy.. he really isn't. Please consider unbanning him as he is a great player to have around and a good person.

I don't play CS (which I assume this about) but I just want to say one thing. If an admin asked you to not say ass then don't say it even if it's not in the filter. I don't know if you were warned or what the situation was but just try to be nice and play the game and get along. I am sure another admin will get back to you on this problem.

Its just the fact that i wasnt warned about it, and according to the admin that banned me, i was warned yesterday....even though i didnt play yesterday....i normally play nice, most of the time im just joking around. Taco knows how i play.

Just cause he was standing up for someone who was being falsely accused of doing something, even if the kid thought he was "being bullied"...it doesn't mean that he should be listened to. Cause if you listen to him, you should listen to all the other people that whine and complain on the server cause they're just as bad. If I whined and complained that someone like Kak [nothing against ya dude...it's just you seem too good sometimes ] was hacking and someone defended him. Would you go and kick them if I said they were bullying me? Those are just my thoughts, it's just that any reasonable person would see how silly it was to ban Drag like you did.

I'd just like to point out that wether a word is on the filter or not has no bearing as to wether we consider it a swear or not. Some words are just harder to censor because they are part of another word. We get enough chaff for those few words that are on the list and compose other words, like hospice. If an admin tells you a word is a swear, that word is a swear. And if they start making outlandish claims like "I" is a swear word, then please report them to the proper authorities.

Well, I didn't personally ban him. It's great to stick up for someone but do it in a friendly manner if possible and don't swear or go against admins wishes or don't complain when you get banned. I'm gonna stay out of it now!

I think what it comes down to, the chat feature isn't essential to play. You don't HAVE to chat at all, nor use the microphone. Complaining about words on the filter really holds no dice, because the in-game voice commands are enough to play. If the admin tells you not to say, "I" or "Bomb" then don't say those words, if the admin is at fault we will find out about it. It does no good argueing on the server. The server is for playing, it's not a chat room. (Contrary to popular belief.)

well ive got to say an issue that came up a few days ago with BigJ and Cpt. Poptart....ok so Poptart and BigJ were playing and out of nowhere he asks..."are you hot Poptart?" and at that moment i knew there was a problem. it was all over the mic so there are no logs....but unfortunatly Poptart didnt do anything about it (in terms of coming here, however she did tell him off on the game) so i will. BigJ does tend to get annoying and he doesnt even know what a forum is...so if hes banned chances are he wont know what to do and hell just ask Worm or Sir. so anyway...i thought that this should be brought to attention as i dont think this is something TAC would let slip...so if you need something about BigJ that is slightly negative use this...SLIGHTLY.... and i think this should be dealt with.
