On the EAGames.co.uk forums a statement was posted with regards to the demo and its status: As of 11:40am BST today, the expectation is that the demo will not be available today as it has yet to pass final stage testing. The demo is anticipated to release tomorrow at which point it will only be available on Gamespot for "Gamespot Complete" subscribers. The full open-to-all release of the demo is expected next week. We do not have a fixed day for this release at this time. Looks like you can sleep easy tonight then if this is the case. As you're probably aware, GameSpot will be premiering the demo for a 24-hour period once EA releases it. At this time, we do not have a release date, but one is expected soon. When it is released, you'll be able to download it from the GameSpot GameCenter (no registration is required) and the games official web site located here: www.Battlefield2.com Anyone with this subscriptio nstatus please dl it when it comes out and let me know so i can get it from yo uand start uploading it to my site and spread the goodness to all!

June 10, 200520 yr Author EA said that it will be available to all but for the first 24 hours only gamespot complete subscribers may have it. besides they are going to be crushed for bandwidth. i am proposing that someone dl it and then send it to me... ill host it for you guys and the other 6 or 7 communities looking at finnerspage.com to host. so if you get it let me know ASAP email or AIM, MSN, anything. thanks
