June 12, 200520 yr I voted M82 because in FA you can swing it around like its nothing and BOOM headshot. You cannot crouch with an M82, unless bipoded, and be half ass accurate. Just becuase its nickname is the Light Fifty, doesnt mean its light. Its 50 pounds for fricks sake. It should be like it is in Americas Army. Everytime you fire it takes you out of the scope, to get any hint of accuracy with it you have to have the bipod deployed. Prevents anyone shotgunning ,not so much a problem now but many people can do it, and it forces you to get better shot placement. Now as for the Saiga, i would have voted that but the only beef with that is its a crash cannon, and i guess its very noobish, takes no skill to get a kill, just let the flak fly. The M79 is pretty *** too. I wish they would take all granades and other explosive devices out of FA. The game is called FIREARMS not Explosives.
June 12, 200520 yr i voted the bizon,mostly cuz i figured everyone else is gonna vote for the famas or the m82.but also cuz it really is a very lame gun.it's got enough bullets but you need them to make up for the fact it doesn't do a lot of damage.plus it takes a long time to relaod.and i hate the name too well ok i don't really hate the name but i had to try and make more points

It's a computer game. You don't have a custom crosshair in the middle of the horizon in real life. If you have a sighting notch and frontsight you have it on all of your weapons- not only AR or submachine guns. So 'shotgunning' is as possible with Drag as it's with FAMAS. You do not respawn and start running like a fool (again) against the enemy. You don't have ammo crates strategically placed in the middle of the battle field to help you regain wasted ammo via spray'n'pray. BTW: you do not spray'n'pray in real life. I've seen AK47/ 74 and I'm sure it doesn't even have full-auto mode to prevent some fool to run out of ammo with his first touch of the trigger. You cannot crouch'n'strafe for such a long period of time like you can do in FA. At least I can't. You cannot jump on the head of your teammate (if you don't want to have a knife in your thigh). Jump and duck doesn't make you to jump farther. All weapons available in FA doesn't weight 1 pound/ 1 kg. Snipers don't change their positions if they don't need to. OMG THEY ARE CAMPING!!!!! Fast switch mode is turn to 0 in real life. Wallhax and aimbot is turn to 0 in real life. ALWAYS. No cheating- death or admin decision necessary. Some shortcuts had to be made to make this game playable. Shooting with M82 is one of them. Sgossard claimed that there will be no SR shotgunning in 3.0. Do you mean he didn't keep his word? As for my vote: it's M79 (sorry Gator! ).

June 12, 200520 yr Author I agree with Bounty Hunter, if this game was exactly like real life, then most of the guns in this game, NO ONE would use. For example, in real life the FA-MAS is not nearly as powerful and accurate as it is protrayed to be in the game. If it was, then our military would use it instead of the M16 or the M4.
June 13, 200520 yr I can't choose in poll because all guns there can have times based on teams and map, that might make them preferable. A hard to break frontline benefits from grenades. Close contact situations can prefer fast shooters or shotties. Bigger areas maybe snipes and m79's.

June 13, 200520 yr A gun that shoots so fast, the gun sounds overlap themselves, it has super short/medium/long-range capabilities, and is one of the fastest reloading weapons in the game yup, must be the FAMAS
