the mx mice are awesome for games (but I wouldn't recommand the 1000 for people who lift a lot)

Indeed. I use a Mx310.. people always say "It's nice design... too bad not for human hands." But I barely ever have more than say my fingertips on the edges and maybe the upper part of my palm on the rear of the mouse. It's light and small enough to manuver however you want..any wrist motion- the mouse is just an extension of your fingertips. I tried the Mx510 and it feels like rolling a rock around... feels too clumsy for me.

But ALL MX mice are REALLY nice. Getting whatever you feel comfortable with and still getting great MX performance is awesome.

I could not tell the difference between the 310 and the 510.

I use the 310 b/c the 510 was funky with up and down sensitivity.

For the money. 310 for the win.

I use a MX1000 and love it. I used to have a MX710, but the batteries overheated and melted the insides.

that happened to my intelimouse explorer wireless, that or it just coroded. now i use mx510
