June 18, 200520 yr My current graphics card is pretty bad and im running everything in low for bf2. I'm thinking about getting this card Ati radeon 9800 pro Do you think it will run bf2 on medium or high? I have a 3.2 ghz processor and 1gb of ram.

June 19, 200520 yr Just spend the extra 20 dollars. it is way worth it. The 6600GT does pixel shader 3.0 and that can be a factior down the road. Plus the 6600GT is way faster than a 9800pro. 20 to 40 fps at least.
June 19, 200520 yr I have a 6600GT from MSI and I love it. I run Doom 3, Half Life 2, and Farcry at 1024x768 on the highest detail settings with at least 60fps.

June 21, 200520 yr lol yes in other news new dell dimension 3000s will be equipped with FX57 with liquid nitrogen cooling wellsy that means you have AGP ! BUT i think you might need AGP 8X, i doubt u have it
June 21, 200520 yr If you have a PCI video card, that is the getting a new computer. AGP video cards replaced PCI, and now PCIe is replacing AGP. They say don't let the past catch up to you, but in this case, you are the past. There aren't may PCI video cards out there, but on newegg.com, the most expensive one is $165. I suggest you get a new motherboard, cpu, video card, RAM....oh wait, that is a new computer.
