June 21, 200520 yr Dont get it, I installed it, and right after I restarted my comp as instructed, my machine started taking LITERALLY 10 minutes to boot. Everything had been going hunky dory until I installed the FEAR beta, but now I have to wait 5 minutes for a drivelock pw screen to come up (which I never had happen before) and then another 5 for the machine to actually get to windows. It might not be the beta, but better safe then sorry. I did get to play it a little before I deleted it with extreme predjudice, and its shaping up to be a great game. The sound, lighting, particle effects, and textures are mind bendingly awesome, better than BF2's and Doom 3's. All this was on low settings too. Just wait for the full game, dont screw with this beta its bad news
June 21, 200520 yr I tried the same thing of file planet and it's nto worth the d/l. i didn't even get to try after d/l it because after the registration it said my computer didn't meet the minimum requirements? AMD 2800+ 64 Bit 1024 Megs Ram ATI X700 256 Megs Anyone know what the minimum specs are for this thing?

June 21, 200520 yr Actully ITs pretty fun with Little Glitches. I run it On Amd Antlon xp 2400 1 gig of ram 128 meg Ati 9600pro I run everything on Low with 2x AA and it runs decent...and Slow Mo deathmatch is Quite fun!
June 21, 200520 yr it's only multi and it's not worth the download. They try and make everything real, but they fail horribly. No matter what you shoot (cement, tile, steel) you'll always get a huge spark and a gunhole about five times the size of your actual bullet. The glass is horrid, you shoot it and it just looks really weird, and it sparks like crazy but when you're in a fire fight, it can be cool. Tracers flying everything, smoke and dust kicking up. The levels are also super bland. The only cool feature is the slomo, and it has to be the best slomo in any game. It puts everything through this psyadelic filter (edges get kind of fuzzy, colorful) and you see all projectiles flying around with the matrix-like air wave following behind. The SP might be fun with scripted sequences and such, but the multi so far doesn't offer anything new or fun

June 21, 200520 yr just played the game for about 30 minutes.. the first time was okay.. but my graphics were all pixelized.. atleast it ran fast :| then i decided to put it on high, and everything was really slow.. i put it on medium, but still had the pixelized crap. bleh. the game got boring after 5 minutes. i don't like it.

This is quite possibly, the best game ever made. The multiplayer is so fun, the graphics are stunning and I can acutally play for 3 hours streight without getting board. The SlowMO in MP is also the sickest thing I have ever seen no doubt. IMHO, this beats HL2 by a mile, it even runs better then HL2 and it's in beta for christ sake! Absoultly loving this game 9/10.

It's faster for me atleast, HL2 lags in firefights and I run on 1024x1068 everything on max and I lag. With this, exact same settings and I don't get any lag in giant firefights with stuff all over the place, undertone is playing it on my machine right now, he's gonna post a reply here soon too.
June 21, 200520 yr wow r5a let me play this on his machine and this game is better then BF2, CS, and even tetris, even if some japanese game designer managed to combine them in some sick and distorted manner, they wouldnt come close to this game. Team Slowmo is bloody amazing. If you manage to get a team together who doesnt shoot every one at first sight, you can get some really cool firefights. My only complaint is that its a little buggy with joining servers, and some of the servers are laggier then anything ive ever seen. Most of the weapons have a purpose, but it seems that the SMG is a bit godlier then the others. GAH I WANNA PLAY MORE!!!
