I don't know about the rest of ya, but I feel as if the sniper rifles are a bit underpowered. Plus the fricken sites take up like half the damn site. So when you put your sight on someone, the sight is like the size of their head!

 

Anyway, my main point is when I'm using the .50 cal sniper rifle, it take more then shot to bring someone down, unless of course you shoot them in the head. That is a lot harder then it seems. I was kind of spawn camping from a distance. This guy spawned and I don't know what he was doing because he was just standing in one spot. So I thought I would see if I could get a headshot on him. I put my sights on his head, and no luck there after using a whole clip on him. Still standing......So then I was thinking about the bullet drop thing, so I went up one pixel and fired away. Still nothing after that clip:( By this I got very dicouraged and just start firing away at his body. He finally died after 4 shots

 

Now I'm guessing some of that might have been registration. Because that was just completely insane! I was so fustrated!AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! It just upsets me when I am trying to snipe and someone snipes with a g36e.

 

I will say I did get a couple of head shots with the ssg. I was crouched and the guys were no more then 50ft away.

 

I do enjoy the game. When Lagnhard, Deli, Sharp, and some other person forms a squad. That right there made me fall in love with it. The team work in this game is so much fun. There are to many things to list that I enjoy about the game. I don't know what is up wiht the sniping but I will keep on trying. If anyone has any tips on sniping. Please let me know!

Otherwise practice practice practice. Shots drop, You must account for windage and elevation.

Windage??? Really??? Where do I look for windage?

I don't think there is windage, but you do have to account for distance with elevation. The farther away, the more elevation.. :peace: Also, if moving, you have to lead, how much is based on how far away you are, the angle they are running to or from you, and if they are running or walking.

The scopes, shot placement, and bullet hits are not "DOT" on like in FA or CS:S.
