Best Buy sucks

Featured Replies

I pre-ordered BF2 from best buy and I went to pick it up today. They gave me the DVD-rom version instead of the CD-rom version. When I told them I don't have a DVD-rom, they said they don't have the cd-rom version. So I asked if I could give it back to them and get my money back. They wouldn't. The game wasn't opened or damaged. They were just being jerks and I know the Best Buy policy and this was not following it.
thats sucks, i didnt have too many problems at ebgames. except for the fact that they ran out of the free headphones :peace:

just another hint you should be moving to DVD Rom

much like the transistion from Floppy to CD, not a lot of people were happy, but it had to happen

Either way they should follow there own policy. I somewhat familiar with best-buy policy. You should be able to return a game/cd if it is not open whats so ever. If not they can get into big trouble!

I understand your feelings if they wouldnt let you change it out. If you look at newegg.com you can pickup a pretty nice DVD rom for around $20-25 (including s&h) or for around 50 you can get one that also burns DVD/CD on almost all formats.

It is worth the extra money...all game are going to be moving to this soon anyway. BTW wellsy you can get it on either I bought 1 of each today.
