June 27, 200520 yr Author I ordered one to upgrade a 9600XT and push the 9600XT to a spare in the basement.The 9600XT does great BF2 but the 6800 does it way better.

June 28, 200520 yr Author 6800 is better than 6600GT. 6600gt just costs less.You cannot go by clock speed. Ever hear of AMD and Intel. Who's clocks are faster. Who is better at gaming statistically speaking. So don't go by clock speed.

June 30, 200520 yr will the 6800 128mb card work for bf2? There is problems with the 6600 128mb with bf2, why would the 6800 128mb be any better? Or is it the pipelines?
June 30, 200520 yr My 6600 smokes like a demon in BF2. No problems whatsoever. Really! I was told that people were having problems with the 6600 128mb card with bf2. Although i cant understand why they would. Jairyn get the 6600 then if its in your price range.

I have a 6600gt 128 PCIE card and with everything on max settings running at 1024x768@100hz i get around 50 fps may dip down to about 25 or so with heavy heavy battle... I'm ordering my 2nd card for an SLI setup tonight so when I get it I will let you guys know how it turns out But from my end i have no problems whatsoever with the 6600GT in BF2 And mac as for EA supporting 6600's it says right on nvidias website that BF2 Is compatible with all 6 series NVIDIA cards http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_battlefield2_home.html just go there and check the recommended GPU's Mystik
