July 1, 200520 yr I always pictured Klink as "Low Wang" of "Shadow Warrior". Their heads are similar. He had to keep his down from my heat seaker rockets. The in game audio taunts were good for many laughs and teasings. He often moved stealthily, hid and waited where he figured i'd go, then throw multiple sticky bombs on my back and send taunt "ahso, sticky bombs look good on you". I knew I would soon blow and send taunt of scream or "you no shoot good with hands, try stick". Funny days. After third game of "Redneck Rampage", also funny like Duke Nukem and Shadow Warrior, shooter games started getting serious only with few if any of those funny laugh-producing touches like taunts and maps, music, etc. Atleast BFV gave and occaisionally gives me laugh from things like it's "Surfin Bird" song. Hmmm, which game character would I choose to have most fun, excitement and laughs ? .................... I guess Duke Nukem because I like to fly and he had jetpack, not to mention other things.
July 1, 200520 yr That's Solid Snake (David), and the character Big Boss (with the eye patch and all) was the one who was slightly inspired by the Snake Pliskin character from the Escape From L.A/New York movies...but of course Solid Snake is a clone of Big Boss so I guess he can also be seen as slightly inspired, but much less so than Big Boss himself anyway...the character I most identify with is probably Gordon Freeman, since he's just your every-day guy put into some crazy situation CRABBATTLE!
July 1, 200520 yr white spy from 'spy vs. spy' or cryssalid from 'UFO: Enemy Unknown' ('X-COM: UFO Defense'). BTW: In 'Jagged Alliance II' you can customize your own character (I know it's nothing now but then...) and one of the male portraits were JUST LIKE MINE.
