Right now I'm working on getting the pistol and knife badges.

I got basic pistol, now Im trying to figure out how to get expert. I have heard conflicting reports on how to do it. All I know is that someone with basic and a tolal of 70 pistol kills also has expert pistol.

maybe a 18th of those hours are me playing the rest is me leaving the game on when im sleeping or at work

Ive gotten veteran pistol(its the one right after basic). I got basically 10 kills with pistol in 1 round, but in like 5 minutes.

 

I guess time restirction is crucial.

what did you have to do for air defence?

I was using the missle launcher tank(that can lock onto jets and others) alot. I guess I bagged around 10 helicopters.

 

Airborne was fun though, Just flew up real high(with 5 other people) we all bailed and chuted down to awarded victory.

I have air defence badge and a ribbon. It was soooo fun I sat in the stinger site the entire round. I had like 20+ kills from the stinger site. I haven't had that much luck since.

 

I have yet to earn a diff medal besides gold,silver and bronze. What about you guys?

i think medals come with time played on a certin side or something..

Im not good at unlocking, Ive unlocked Gold, Silver And Bronze Medals, Airborne, and Basic Assault (which wont show up after i unlocked it )

i need 4 badges alot of ribbons and i dont have the time to unlock any medals...

medals are a pain to unlock, all I can get are bronze, silver, and gold stars.

I haven't even got the purple heart, but as soon as I start getting that one i know it is useless to try playing good.

i would like to point out the req for purple hert is absolutly wrongi have 2 and dont come any where close the the posted req, and the kninfe badge is wrong as i also have that and dont meet the posted req...

"Medic !! Uhh". Howdy man. I'm on same buses next few months atleast. We finally got BF2, thanks to TigerHawk. We had not learned much with the demo as we were only concerned with fps. Now that we checking out all the choices there is a surprising amount to learn and remember. We're learning the maps, what all/how to do things and target practice. Then you'll see us in servers. That scanning and calling arty is cool. So far my fave is Specialist.

i just cant get the air defense, i spent so much time in aa tanks or stationary launcher, but i just dont get it.

 

any tipps?

you need like 15-20 hours! there is no way u need 250 hours!!!! i got it like after a month!

The thing is you can't just spend the time. You have to be in active battle which means at least get one kill while in the TOW or whatever.

I got that badge where you need five kills in a mounted gun or whatever by being commander in the old days and I got a 5 mortar kill while I was standinh in the gun. LOL. Whatever works.
