What does it take?

FAMAS!

And playing blue on each map helps (map designers hate red). Seriously, its all about being mobile when you need to be mobile, and awaiting the enemy when you know he is likely around the corner. Predicting what the enemy is likely to do, or where he is likely to be goes a long way to running all over a map casually slaughtering as you go. How does the sniper seem to headshot you time and time again? Its because you keep sticking your head in the same place. How come you are able to turn a corner and waste a bunch of enemies? Cause they were running to battle, making lots of noise, and not expecting you. In other words, it takes smarts and practise (skillz).

IMHO with the solo exception of JJ's post there is no real advice in here (including my post ;) OK, maybe I was right Klink needs some match experience). But still JJ didn't say much.

C'mon guys, Klink is not new here. He knows how to play smart and that the enemy can lurk behind the corner and you can nade them. He played a lot (probably more than some of us), but he noticed he didn't improve. He asked you why (or what he should do to improve) but all you can say is a bunch of cliche. For example don't tell me that Atma's moves or Samson's hs after hs after hs are just a matter of good crosshair. Don't tell me they trained a lot. Everyone of us did. But there is only a small group who can do as Klink wrote above

Some of these guys are unbeleivable. I don't mean just aim but aim when jumping 50 feet then landing and headshotting. That makes me wonder.

I still claim there's some sort of falsely- understood 'eliteness' in here.

Yes, I need match experience.

JJ mentioned a comfortable config.

Mine is comfortable as far as key setup if that is what he means.

I have FA tweaked as good as you can tweak it for a non programmer type guy.

I have been single shotting lately and I still haven't got a hang of the patience thing but that will come.

Keep those tips coming.

P.S. I don't see too many of the Uber Leet posting here.

Sorry to say klink I don't think any of the "uber leet" will post here. Meaning they won't give out any of there secrets!
Yes I know it would give them competition. To me that would be a good thing, unless they think they can't get any better at this game.

good hand and eye reflexes i think matter alot. also anticipating the way a person will move and counter that move. i would like to learn how to get better and pratice with someone, because getting better makes the game more fun

you know...i think playing in matches is what makes you good. im serious. i havent ever played in one match in my entire FA ....career you could call it. i also suck out loud so that could be the problem. i too need to know how to be good at this game, because its gonna be gone soon. ive been playing for 3 years now and i dont know if thats a long time or not. most of the good people i think have come from 2.5 and down. i honestly cant think of anyone UBERLEET thats not from 2.5 and older. it must be the amount of time youve played too, because according to another person's post they said that all the good people came from 2.5 days, therefore they must be the best of now because they played with the best of the best from the past. so they developed a skill from playing these people. so i think it depends on who youve played in matches and just generally how long youve been playing.
sometimes what i do is a watch demos from my recent scrims & matches and look out for mistakes and try to correct them, but for aiming, ghosteh & jj pretty much said it all.

Finaly an Uber Leet posts.

Seriously, Jimmy, you are pretty good that was just a " gotta do it" post.

Here ya go. I use that for all except shotguns. I have a green circle for that.

I have tried a few diff types and like these best.

My biggest problem is locking the Xhair on someones head. By the time I am dead on I am dead. LOL. I am playing with sensitivity too since Mac suggested I raise mine. I have been raising it from 4 and now am at 9.0.

BTW. The Xhair isn't off center I just cropped the pic off center.

Dont take your time aiming klink... Just put your crosshair close to your target and shoot... the longer you take to aim, the more time they have to aim... you want to rush their aiming so that they cant get a good shot on you... Also, dont aim for the head, aim for the neck ;)

i think thats bad advice. dont aim just shoot. ya and miss

i just saw it as this

you are trying to do exactually what you want your enemy to do,

you want to rush their aiming so that they cant get a good shot on you...

which kinda leaves this in controdiction

Aiming perfect is what you get after solid practice and experience. I can usually aim on the draw where I want to. The leet do it without a problem.

Single shot skill is the line between mediocrity and leet.

well i will agree with the single shot thing. i can ss fine but certain clan players can switch between ss and auto very quickly on the move and are always mobile thats a good skill to learn i guess. Would still say that bullet registry is very important as well...it doesnt matter if your aim is perfect if the shots dont register.

edit* hrmm im actually quiting this game....in a couple of days. Klink you want advice? Players in your own clan who should be able to give you great "advice" : Josh and Punisher amongst a few others.

you should prolly tell your admins bout this
