July 3, 200520 yr http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,161436,00.html http://finnerspage.com/images/misc/temple1.jpg you know, it's cool that they have no idea what effect this exploding comet will have...... which is one reason why they are doing it
July 3, 200520 yr Well, if you read more than just that little story, they are actually doing it because they think comets have the most primitive of elements in the universe. They wanted one that was 'un-touched' so to speak, so it couldn't be very close. I hope it rips demensions.
July 3, 200520 yr i read this article a few hours ago cause astronomy and space stuff amazes me. I think it's pretty cool, too bad I wont be able to see the explosion happen, they said people with telescopes in the southwest or latin america might be able to see it
July 3, 200520 yr wonder how much it will knock the comet off course -G the probe crashing into the rock is the size of a washing machine it won't budge it too much
July 4, 200520 yr Author actually sam, i read the whole thing and i know quite a bit about science and space in general.... i just liked the words and how they used them. it will only blow off surface dust. it will not exploded thew comet... just put a creator on it
July 4, 200520 yr yah I saw somethin on TV about this....apparently they are broadcasting the flight/crash? Or something like that. It was a commercial for this.
