Could somebody tell me how to score repair points. I have repaired friendly vehicles (with people in them) but recieved no points. Is there a threshold value I have to repair in order to get a point? Do I get points for repairing Dams and Comm Structures? Please help me

noand you need 5 for the repair badge, just repair your command assets about twice and you get it

Yes to comm structures and artillery. Those are the easiest ones. I get a lot of points following armor around in an FAV or LAV. Get close to the left or right (preferably opposite where they are getting shot from) and repair while you drive.

Hmm, I may be wrong there. I didn't know proximity healing didn't get you healing points. It definately does repair the vehicle, but I haven't noticed if you earn points or not.

 

Repairing destroyed artillery and comm structures definately does earn you points, as does repairing vehicles with your wrench as long as there is a teammate in it.

I think the engie's got shafted a bit with their specialist ability. As a Support or Medics, all they have to do is drop their bags and if a teammate who needs a little life or ammo walks over it.... BAM, instant point. Engies don't have such luck :/

But the potential of an engineer insta-healing a tank 3 times in a row is quite scary.

I never said Engies needed help, I'm just saying that compared to their counterparts, they kind of got the wrong end of the stick.

Proximity healing and repair both work. The points system works that you have to heal a certain amount of a person's health before you recieve a point. When you proximity heal someone as a medic you have to heal a couple guys before you get the point.
