July 21, 200520 yr When cats catch birds & mouses, they don't kill immediatly and you don't see blood because the cats play with it until it see blood and than it kills the bird or mouse to eat it. Cats are predators but they hunt for pleasance and after the animal instinct move up to kill & eat... Egidio.

July 22, 200520 yr my cats catch birds and rats all the time around my house and leave the innards on our portch. sometimes i see one of them just batting at something in the bushes and i go over to take the rat from him
