FA either client 57'd(or varient) or crash to desktop

Featured Replies

ok here goes I as most know had a hdd failure a couple weeks ago sent in my hdd and got my new one already. I do not know if its a bad version of FA that i've gotten or something is just not working properly because when i join a game every 30 seconds i will either get client 57'd (or varient i say varient cause it will come up a different number) or it will crash directly to desktop. Its not exactly 30 seconds but its definitely under 30 seconds. All my drivers i'm using are the exact same as what i was using before my system is set up the same I'm not having problems with regular half-life, tried to see if was that, im not having problems with any other games or programs. Even my BF2 has been good to me, knocks on wood. I've tried dl'ing FA 3 times now from a different source, each time the files were the same size. I know Gators putting in alot of great work into the server which apparently hasnt crashed in quite some time yes Itried your idea gator it doesn't seem to work for me thanx anyway. but i was wondering if anyone could think of what else it could be, something im over looking...

wow mac your a very to the point kind of person...lol

anyway I get the problem alot also :peace:
