well, I get boored so i decide, why not see if bf2 will run any better on my machine (fat chance) with this new patch. so i download it, and then start to install.

 

few moments later I get the message "patch failed"

Have you tried.... re downloading it? And also, if you had somthin else downloading while patching that might mess it up

I have had the same problem, with the first and the second patch (Thank you EA). You must do it manually. Look at:

I know, its a little bit complicated, but it worked in my case.

i had to do this as well. Now, to top it all off, it takes me 5+ minutes to join a game. It just sits at verifying client data

I have the same time problem, but at least, it works.
